Android 7.0 Nougat: Get To Know The Smartphones That Receives The Android Latest Version

Android Nougat, which is also known as Android N officially released to Nexus devices on August 22, 2016, and now it is being released to other smartphones as well. This includes all the eligible devices of Sony, Samsung, HTC, Motorola etc. Since each maker has different timelines to implement the update, the devices that are eligible for the Nougat update is helpful to the smartphone users to ensure on time update of the same.

Each manufacturer is working to include as many devices as possible to include in the update. Samsung will send the update to Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, S7 Edge, S6 Edge and Note 5 soon. Sony is another manufacturer trying to roll out the new update to its Xperia X, Xperia Z3+, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact, reports Express. HTC also has planned for HTC 10, One M9 and One A9 devices and users will get the update soon. The latest entrant OnePlus also getting ready for its OnePlus 3 device.

Fifteen Motorola phones also would receive Android Nougat. Moto G - 4th Gen, Moto G Plus - 4th Gen, Moto G Play - 4th Gen, Moto X Pure Edition - 3rd Gen, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Moto X Force, Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Nexus 6, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Play Droid are those devices, cited by The Verge. All these devices are expected to receive the update by end of this month or by next month.

Android Nougat will be supported with "Day Dream", the Virtual Reality (VR) platform that would be released in November. The virtual reality headset helps users to use their mobile phones in it and experience the VR, per developer. Nougat also improves the battery performance with its "Doze" power saving option. With customized notifications and smarter settings, it is expected improve the adaptability of the device. It is also coming with improved security.
