Pokemon GO trainers who reached level 40 are reportedly banned from gyms. What could be the reason behind this?

Pokemon GO Ends For Level 40 Trainers?

A Pokemon GO and Reddit user JimmEpitts posted on the forum that she could no longer gain access to any gym. It seems this problem is not an isolated one. Pokemon GO players who reached level 39 to 40 can no longer do anything gym related in the game, according to Pokemongohub. Does this mean that it's game over Pokemon Go players who have reached the final level in the game?

Niantic Reply To Pokemon GO Level 40 Players

JimmEpitts claimed of sending several email to PokemonGO developer Niantic. Unfortunately no reply has been received as of press time. Currently, trainers who have reached level 40 are quite rare. Until Niantic announces it policy for them, level 40 players have no choice but to bear with it. They could also pick another game maybe Clash of Clans?

Pokemon GO Facts and Theory About Level 40

Pokemon GO for the moment caps the level at 40. One way Niantic can keep level 40 players is to increase the cap. This will enable them to keep playing the game and level up. However, are players willing to continue a game that could no longer keep up with them?

Pokemon GO Need For Additional Features

Pokemon GO was the most popular game in the planet when it was launched last July. After more than three months, the game reportedly loses millions of its player base. However, such news does not worry Niantic one bit. Pokemon GO still has a large player base and the income it brings to the developer is the envy of other mobile game developers.

Niantic did announce that it's going to add features to Pokemon GO including a trading system, multiplayer battle and even the release of Legendary Pokemon.
