Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 5 is going to tackle a sensitive topic. The episode was allegedly inspired by non-other than Mr. Donald Trump

Donald Trump's campaign had been had been one of the most controversial campaigns in the history of the United States. First, he was on fire for making racist comments and now, he's being accused of harassing women. US Weekly reported that Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 5 is going to focus on a character that's going to be Donald Trump like in character.

Actor Gary Cole is going to play the role of a politician who's facing accusations from women. In the video promo for Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 5, the actor came face to face with Olivia Benson. At that particular moment, he told Olivia, "I'm a handsome, charming millionaire. Women throw themselves at me." Towards the end of the clip, he told reporters "Know that I have nothing to hide."

Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 5 titled "Unstoppable" is set to air on October 26, 2016 - just two weeks before the November 8 presidential election. It was reported that the storyline for this episode underwent a lot of scrutiny by the network itself and its producers. Everyone that's involved in the show wants to make sure that they do the story correctly and without any repercussions.

One thing's for sure, Gary Cole's performance is something to look forward to. It is going to be quite difficult to portray a role and deliver it effectively while making sure that lines are not crossed. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , showrunner Rick Eid gave hints that Law & Order SVU: Season 18 is going to have an episode about a politician.

Question is did they decide to make it a Donald Trump-inspired story months before? Will this episode affect Donald Trump's campaign?
