Selena Gomez has returned to rehabilitation center as she found to have mentally depressed. Originally it was reported that she was struggling from auto-immune disease Lupus in 2013 and was continuing the treatment for it. During the course, she fell into depression and anxiety, and she took break from the career to take treatment in rehab. She is once again back to rehab stating she needs better recovery from depression to get back to the industry.

Though she struggled with Lupus diagnosis in 2013 only in 2015 she confirmed the same, reports NY Daily News. "I was affected with Lupus and went through chemotherapy," she explained as there were rumors about her break in 2013. "That is why I took break or I could have had stroke."

The disease attacks the immune system, affects almost all the organs of the body and cause intermittent fever, rashes on skin, photo sensitivity, ulcers etc. There is no effective treatment for the disease, however the intensity of it can be reduced by having balanced diet, taking enough rest, not using alcohol and smoke, treating fever etc. It should be noted that the exact cause of the disease is still not confirmed.

Now it is reported that Selena Gomez is seen in Tennessee rehab center taking treatment for the side effects of Lupus, cited by Dailymail. It can be understood that up to 60% of chronic Lupus patients develop clinical depression. It should require a combined treatment of medication and psychotherapy. Also the recovery level changes according to people as some gets recovered within weeks and others may take years.

Since no official information regarding her health is known, it should be presumed that how well she responds to the treatment decides the rate of her recovery. There were reports that she found happily roaming in the streets of Alcoa, Tennessee and taking pictures with fans. So, it can be believed that she would recover in a couple of weeks and come back to spotlight, though she needs special care henceforth.
