A lot of announcements were made in the New York Comic Con regarding the hit anime series RWBY. With huge kudos and respect to the departed Monty Oum, his legacy in the show lives on quite vibrantly.

Facing the crowd were writers Kerry Shawcross (Neptune Vasilas) and Miles Luna (Jaune Arc), as well as voice actresses Lindsay Jones (Ruby) and Barbara Dunkelman (Yang).

The initial announcement revolved around bringing a subbed version of the RWBY manga to North America. Rooster Teeth and Viz Media are partnering up for this one, with a special teaser of something else coming from the latter company - speculation abounds here, but simply stay tuned until either announce what this 'something else' is.

For the collectors out there, figurines and the like have also been announced: with Zwei and Neptune as the rarest of the lot. Sadly, though, the merchandise will be sold in blind boxes, making a complete collection somewhat of a gamble. These should be out by now, as they were scheduled for after the NYCC.

Still, if cute little figures aren't for you, then perhaps the coming collectible cards will be more your style. These are out at January 2017, with the exact number still unknown.

In the international aspect, Volume 2 of the anime is out in Japan, with Volume 3 right around the corner if the prior volume receives a warm welcome.

For the game spinoff of the anime, Grimm Eclipse, a free update was announced that debuted the

JNPR (Juniper) Team: Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha and Ren. They also have unique abilities to contribute, such as Jaune's buffing of teammates. The game will be out for PS4 and XB1 before this year's end.

Finally, there is a post at RoosterTeeth's website that shows a teaser character short of the coming volume, which is out this October 22. The description verbatim is as follows:

"It's been several months since the Fall of Beacon, and the world of Remnant is still recovering. Tensions are high, lives have been lost, and the members of Team RWBY... are divided. Each of our heroines now faces a journey of their own."

And with that, just stay tuned with us for more RWBY news!
