Showtime just dropped a mysterious trailer on how the storyline for "The Affair" will move on in Season 3. This allowed fans to have a break from the anticipation and different predictions which they had to endure for almost a year now.

This is the first time that the network released a trailer for "The Affair" Season 3. Express UK reports that the promotional video revealed Noah Solloway's (Dominic West) ordeal and was found in the clips convincing his ex-wife Helen (Maura Tierney) that he is innocent. He was sentenced and imprisoned for being guilty of getting involved in Scott Lockhart's (Collin Donnel) death.

The video also revealed Alison Lockhart's (Ruth Wilson) return. Alison is noted in Vine Report as someone who is also involved with Scott's death. Because of these key observations, "The Affair" Season 3 might be one of the most thrilling and suspenseful installment the show has ever had.

Metro UK also notes star Irene Jacob (who will be playing the role of Jacob's new love interest in "The Affair" Season 3). Her character is named as Juliette Le Gall. She will be a helpful character for Jacob, who will be going through a lot of emotional and mental turmoil because of the dilemma he's in.

Some of the stars of "The Affair" have received praises and awards from Golden Globe this year and in 2015. The show is created by producers Hagai Levi and Sarah Treem. It first aired on Showtime back in October 2014. It talks and depicts the emotional stress, physical effects and other consequences of an extramarital relationship. The storyline has hooked several viewers because of its relatable storyline. Thus, the renewal of the show for a third installment. "The Affair" Season 3 is slated to air on November 20 this year on the same network.
