'The Last Of Us' 2 Confirmed In Development; Naught Dog Revealed New Protagonist And Other New Characters

The Naughty Dog already confirmed the "The Last of Us" 2 is on its way. Reports show that sequel of "The Last of Us" is currently in development after a very long wait.

According to the Game Rant, the development of the new sequel to "The Last of Us" has begun. It just happens, that "The Last of Us" 2 developments undergo on a delay due to fact that the game developer Naughty Dog needs to work out on the production of the game "Uncharted 4" A Thief's End.

In addition, Naughty Dog, mentioned that they already have some thoughts and ideas for "The Last of Us" as they did some sort of a brainstorming along with the development team. It was revealed that "The Last of Us" 2 concept and ideas are already being set as of the moment.

Neil Druckmann said that he had a small team working on "The Last of Us" 2 game design and some sort of prototype when they decided to move the team to work on the "Uncharted 4" DLC. The team is in the middle of sharing thoughts and ideas for "The Last of Us" 2, more characters along side with Joel and Ellie.

The rumor about "The Last of Us" 2 existed when the game director Neil Druckmann mentioned about the completion of "Uncharted 4" single player DLC. As Druckmann was interviewed by The Frame, he mentioned that the possible release date of "The Last of Us"will be somewhere in 2021, even said that fans should expect the news that "The Last of Us" game development progress until 2018.

As for the current development of "The Last of Us" 2, Neil Druckmann said they are currently working on the diversity of the story. Druckmann confirmed that they plan to add an LGBT character as a secondary "The Last of Us" 2 protagonist.

"The Last of Us" first game was a great game that even received a score of 10 of 10 from Gamespot. "The Last of Us" 2 is is sure to be a major hit once hit the market and fans are hopeful that the sequel would be released in no time.
