NBC Network announced just recently that "Grimm" Season 6 will be the last installment of the show. However, several reports have spread around the web that other networks are eyeing to continue the series under their turf.

For one, Movie News Guide reports that "Grimm" Season 7 might still happen with the help of Freeform. In another article released by the same website, aside from Freeform, fans have expressed their desire to see the series in CBS or TNT.

Right now, Freeform holds ten TV shows which are popular among series followers. Some of the listed shows are Pretty Little Liars and Shadowhunters. Even when rumors are rife, the supposed network to take over has not said any word yet about "Grimm" Season 7.

With the kinds of series they take in, it is quite unlikely for Freeform to risk catching "Grimm" for a 7th season. The network has been producing TV shows which focus on young adult and teenage audiences. Most of the series they invest in are family-oriented. Being a TV company which had connections with Walt Disney Company which focuses on fun and kid-friendly standards, it seems impossible for the network to add gore and slight brutality in their line-up of shows.

Counsel Heal points out any TV show's goal: it should ride along with the numbers game. Avid fans of the show made an effort to produce noise in the cyberspace by collecting sign-up and signatures from other fans.

The last reported count recorded in the online petition is already at 12,249 and their goal is to get 13,000 online and avid fans to sign up. Unfortunately, even when they get the targeted number of sign up counts, the online petition is still not a guarantee that NBC will hear out their plea to produce "Grimm" Season 7.
