Amidst ongoing legal problems, the successful reality TV "Sister Wives" series, that deals with life in a polygamist family, has not yet been renewed for an 8th Season. While the exact cause of cancellation are not known, it was speculated that it was Kody Brown's desire to take two more wives apart that led to a split in the Brown family. Reportedly, legal wife Robyn, and his "spiritual" spouses Christine, Janelle and Meri threatened to leave "Sister Wives" and him should he go ahead anyway with his plans.

However, worry not, "Sister Wives" fans, because TLC has historically made spinoffs of cancelled TV series. An example would be the hit "19 Kids and Counting" which TLC axed following the confession by Josh Duggar that he sexually abused his very own siblings. In spite of this chilling news, the show enjoyed strong followings that a new spin off series was born, "Counting On."

"Sister Wives" is popular enough to birth a new spinoff should Season 8 fail to make it in TLC, according to Inquisitr. Taking special note of Mykelti Brown's fans who've eagerly been awaiting her Utah wedding. Marrying her long time boyfriend, Tony Padron, the couple first sealed the deal when he proposed to Mykelti during one waterfall hike.

Expressing excitement over her up and coming wedding, Mykelti told reporters that she was overjoyed to be getting married. She was looking forward to being monogamous with her soon-to-be-husband, unlike her fellow "Sister Wives" stars.

It is unknown if she might change her mind on that, but as things stand, Kody Brown's daughter appears to be settled on a monogamous life.

In the meantime one of Kody's wives, Janelle Brown, has shown interest in quickstarting a new fitness adventure, "Strive with Janelle," according to an article by News3lv. Having struggled for much of "Sister Wives" with losing weight, the reality TV star hopes that the mew program will help her "get in shape to get into shape."

According to Yahoo, it looks like the "Sister Wives" stars have began going separate ways as they wait for their show's renewal. Certainly though, together the family has been fighting yet another legal battle, appealing to the Supreme Court to review a provision in Utah's Law that criminalizes cohabitation with married partners in addition to polygamy.

As of now, all fans can do is wait for TLC to officially give a go signal.
