"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is returning this month. Fans of this post-apocalyptic show could not wait to see what will happen to their favorite characters namely, Rick, Negan and King Ezekiel.

Rick's Position

Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is rudely awoken by a new reality. His position of power is no longer around when he got out of his coma, according to Digital spy. "The Walking Dead" fans are wondering if he will survive the first episode of the upcoming season. Actor Lincoln mentioned that his character will be a different person altogether. Does this mean that Rick will go head to head with Negan?

Negan Will Change "The Walking Dead" Forever

"The Walking Dead" producer Greg Nicotero said that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will figure prominently in the upcoming season. He will start a new and terrifying chapter in "The Walking Dead" franchise.

King Ezekiel and His Tiger

"The Walking Dead" fans are familiar with King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his pet tiger, Shiva. He is the ruler of a community aptly named the Kingdom. He helped Rick against Negan. It was also his soldiers that encountered the duo Carol (Melissa McBride) and Morgan (Lennie James).

Carol had her doubts if the Kingdom is truly a peaceful place. To her such beautiful place is "too good to be true". She frequently bickered with Morgan during the previous season regarding the morality of killing another person, according to the Christian Post.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 Casts

"The Walking Dead" season casts will be the biggest one yet. There are about 20 major characters in the upcoming season. However, that number may be reduced by at least one or two characters who may be killed off by Negan and his deadly bat.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 Release Date

The "Walking Dead" Season 7 premier is expected to be aired on Sunday, October 23 in the AMC channel and on October 24 in Fox Channel for UK viewers.
