Naruto Shippuden episode 478 has ended showing Naruto and Sasuke finally ending their fight and making peace with each other. Fans only have two more episodes to watch before the show ends for good.

Naruto Shippuden 478 - Unison Sign

Naruto Shippuden 478 started with a flashback where Sasuke defeated Naruto during their ninja school days. Their teacher told them to make the unison sign but both refused. The episode is full of memories in which Sasuke realized he has a lot in common with Naruto.

Both of them were considered as outcasts in Leaf village due to Naruto's nine tailed fox and Sasuke's Uchiha's lineage. But Sasuke also acknowledged for the first time that Naruto was able to convert people to his side including his older brother, Itachi.

As usual, Naruto is too thick headed to realize Sasuke's subtle admission of defeat but he was able to get his message across to the future Hokage. Sasuke was even willing to give his eye to Naruto in order to end the Infinite Tsukuyomi since he is dying. Naruto however, would not let him die. Fans were shocked to see that both Naruto and Sasuke lose an arm. It was only revealed when the episode is about to end.

Upcoming Episodes 479 and 480

Upcoming Episode 479 is titled Uzamaki Naruto. This episode will reportedly show how Naruto and Sasuke will work together to release their fellow ninjas still trapped in the dream loop or Infinite Tsukuyomi. The upcoming episode also shows a recovering Naruto walking around the village and talking to Shikamura and his sensei as well as Team Seven leader Kakashi.

Episode 480 is titled Naruto and Hinata which clearly hints that the last episode is devoted to them. However, the last show may also show a blossoming romantic relationship between Sasuke and Sakura.

Naruto Shippuden Fans Reaction to Final Episodes

Ironically, a lot of fans are hoping that the show can be extended even if the showrunners will fill it with a lot of fillers.
