Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Latest News & Update: Saiyan Time Patrollers Unveiled; New World Gameplay Included In Collector’s Edition?

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the collector's edition will include a manga about the Saiyan Time Patrollers. Some lucky personalities were also recently given the chance to explore the upcoming game's new world.

Dragon Ball Saiyan Time Patroller Manga

Buyers of the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 collector's edition will receive a ten page long manga about the Saiyan Time Patrollers. Not much is known about it yet but game publisher Bandai Namco managed to show the first page of the comic book in the official Facebook page.

The introductory page showed that the Saiyan Time Patrollers are on recruitment drive. On unnamed applicant and possibly one of the heroes of the short manga story was introduced.

DB Manga Creator Passes Torch

Akira Toriyama is the original Dragon Ball manga writer. However, he has already assigned the DB stories to Toyotaro, one of his best apprentices, according to Capsule Computers. The DBX 2 manga also include a special message from the renowned Toriyama. He wrote that he is passing the mantle of keeping the Dragon Ball universe alive to Toyotaro. The renowned manga author however, will still hand out some general ideas for the story.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 New Gameplay

Some lucky personalities were given the chance to play the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 story mode as well as explore Canton City, a new hub world. The video clip showed players roaming the city and interacting with the various NPC. Later player's character will encounter Raditz and then a fight ensues. Some new moves and brand new accessories are also introduced.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Release Date

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set for on October 25 in the United States and on October 28 in Europe. The upcoming DB game will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
