Amazon and Twitch have collaborated to launch a new premier service Twitch Prime.

With the launch of this service, Amazon Prime members will  now be able to get a free subscription as a part of their existing package.

Twitch was acquired by Amazon in 2014 which had triggered speculations that Amazon could bundle their Prime service with Twitch's premier service Twitch Turbo. Taking inspiration, the new product was developed which will offer free game loot every month such as a copy of the Twitch-only game Streamline. Members also receive a discount on new release games released on Amazon both during pre-order and first two weeks after launch.

On the Twitch platform, the subscription will allow for ad-free experience and provide exclusive features like badges and emotes which are available under Twitch Turbo service. It will also provide one free channel subscription every 30 days.  The streamer doesn't lose the free service since Twitch pitches in the cost of the subscription.

Twitch CEO Emmett Shear had announced the service at the recently held annual TwitchCon and had said that he hopes to attract gamers with continued great offers.

"Our goal for Twitch Prime is to make this undeniably the best deal for gamers online," he said. "We would like to get it to the point where, to a crib [Amazon founder] Jeff Bezos here, you are almost irresponsible if you are not a Twitch Prime subscriber."

Members can get the benefit of the free Twitch Prime subscription by just linking their Twitch account with their Amazon account. A 30-day trial is now available for sign up at the website. For those without Amazon Prime, the annual subscription fee for the service is $99 which is equivalent to that of Amazon Prime's subscription.

Amazon has also announced a new virtual currency at the TwitchCon called Stream+.

The Stream+ coins will be awarded to players when they watch different channel streams and can be spent in in-game items as well as "polls and wagering". The coins will be debuted in the new multiplayer team battle game called Breakaway.
