"Madam Secretary" Season 3 Episode 1 is set to premiere on October 2, 2016, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS Television Network. This episode's title is "Sea Change" where Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) pushes her views on foreign policy as seen in the sneak peak video of the episode.

"Madam Secretary" Season 3 Episode 1 was originally set to air on September 25, but was moved to October 2. Plot for the first episode was revealed, according to reports by Spoilers Guide, U.S. naval base in Bahrain was destructed by a storm. Because of this incident, everybody is alarmed and Elizabeth pushes President Dalton (Keith Carradine) to peruse the existing foreign policy and reconsider his method of approach to climate change. However brilliant Elizabeth's idea is, it has the potential to risk President Dalton re-election campaign.

In the same episode, Jose Campos (Carlos Gomez) attempts to take back Henry (Tim Daly) into the DIA fold. Elizabeth's family worry that they may have been stalked especially when they discovered and found out that Jason's laptop is possibly hacked by someone. Henry and Elizabeth will be dealing with the issue but the McCords has even more responsibilities to face.

To excite fans more, there are spoilers reported by cartermatt.com stating that "Madam Secretary" Season 3 Episode 2 entitled "The Linchpin" will focus on the investigation on the hacking of Jason's laptop. In this episode, Elizabeth's children are getting security detail because of the situation. Elizabeth will also be caught in a huge setback when the trusted U.S. Ambassador to Algeria suddenly dies.

"Madam Secretary" is an American political drama TV series created by Barbara Hall which premiered on September 21, 2014 and have successfully aired two seasons. On March 25, 2016, "Madam Secretary" was renewed for Season 3.
