Geek revealed that the new director who will be prominent in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 Episode 3 is named as Jeffrey Mace (Jason O' Mara). The new character was introduced in a scene where Phillip "Phil" Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) had a face-to-face encounter with the new director. Producers of the show intentionally moved the camera angle from one character to another until the new director was revealed.

International Business Times revealed ABC's newly released synopsis of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 Episode 3.
