"Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2 original airing schedule was moved to October 3 to give way to the presidential debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump slated on September 26. The delayed episode is titled as "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress On Fire". The sophomore season of the fantasy series focusing on the life of Satan on Earth premiered on September 19.

In the recent season's first episode, viewers have witnessed how Lucifer feared the day he will finally meet his mother - "Mama Morningstar" also known as Charlotte - again. And when it finally happened on episode 1, Lucifer is left with no choice but to deal with her mysterious intentions, The International Business Times reports. As we move on to "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2, we will see how detective Chloe and Lucifer will be pushed to dig into the mysteries behind a murder case which involved Charlotte who is claiming to be innocent.

Fans can recall that episode 1 also had Maze and Dr. Martin coming back to the scene, with Lucifer instructing the former to babysit his mother. "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 1 ended with Charlotte passing out into Lucifer's arms. With all these initial notes and scenarios, it is still very hard to tell whether Charlotte is telling the truth or not.

To make things clearer, this is what the official "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2 synopsis says: ""When Lucifer's mother, Charlotte, turns up at the scene of a grizzly murder pleading innocence, Lucifer is hesitant to believe her tale. Not wanting to leave her on her own, he instructs Maze to babysit her - and not to torture her, allowing him to investigate the case with Chloe."

"Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2 is expected to be back on October 3 scheduled at 9PM, EST on Television Network FOX after a week of hiatus.
