Starz' most-anticipated time-travel series "Outlander" Season 3 still seem to ring a lot of buzz lately, even when it is scheduled to show next year. There is still no official news about its official date of release, however, several spoilers say that it might be made public 11 months after season 2. This is calculated just like how season 2 was scheduled right after season 1.

The International Business Times reports that Sam Heughan's character Jamie will appear older in "Outlander" Season 3 but this will not be the factor that will stir the interest of the viewers. With Jamie still alive after 20 years, it is a given fact that he has survived the Battle of Culloden. Heughan disclosed that there will be a lot of flashback scenes which will show his struggles during the battle.

He revealed in an interview with Elle that the twenty year jump from season 2 will reveal a lot of new interesting things about the things Jamie went through and how these events changed him. Heughan warns fans that "Outlander" Season 3 will be a very emotional one. The battle has marked Jamie and Claire's separation and their reunion will definitely glue fans in front of their television sets. Heughan also notes that the season is "very strong, very exciting."

According to Hofmag, Heughan had earlier disclosed that the filming of the first two episodes has already been completed. He also emphasized that he's been spending a lot of time in the battlefield and he's usually covered with artificial blood and mud. Clearly, with this statement, avid fans should expect a recall of the battle in "Outlander" Season 3 premiere episodes.

For now, the characters are set to travel to Jamaica for a new set of scenes to shoot. "Outlander" Season 3 is scheduled for release in 2017.
