"Tinder" just announced that it is an investor in a social network where the girls are able to meet new friendships. This social network that Tinder has invested into is Vina.

In a report from TechCrunch, Vina already raised a $1.4 million seed round. This includes Greylock, NEA and Wildcat Venture Partners. Recently, "Tinder" just participated in the round investing in a good amount for the network.

This is the first time that "Tinder" moved beyond romantic connections. This is a big step for the dating app since it can already process data on how people make decisions through digital dating. This transition has been evident when the 'Tinder Stacks' was introduced. It is an iMessage that will let the user send a Tinder-style card. These cards have images and will let their friends vote on anything.

According to iTechPost, the new iMessage app tends to leave behind "Tinder's" matchmaking efforts. It uses a unique swipe-based interface to let users interact with a group of friends. It is about making friends vote conveniently with the swipe method.

The iMessage app of "Tinder" lets users ask for opinion from friends. This is through making a stack of photos that users are able to share in their contacts. The rest of the friends can access this slideshow and vote through swiping. To choose something that the squad likes it has to be swiped right and left if the squad does not like it.

This new feature from "Tinder" is a convenient way to ask for opinions on any subject. This may help in the decision making for a best dress to wear for the night or the best place to go hangout with friends. The user's decision making is made easier based on the photos chosen by the squad.

Meanwhile "Tinder" still is one of the best dating apps and just recently they partnered with Spotify to find the best match through music.
