Samsung Galaxy J7 Release News: S Secure System Activated To Lock, Hide Apps; S Power To Reserve Batt; India Launch With Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime boasts of features such as the S Secure, which allows users to lock or hide apps, and the S Power Planning, a reserve battery technology. The South Korean company also provided a bundled data for the users of the new mobile device, wherein they will be charged for 1GB of data to receive 9GB of data for free over the course of  three months.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime was launched on Monday in India, including the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime. According to reports, the Galaxy J7 costs Rs. 18,790 while J5 Prime is offered at Rs. 18,790. However, the Galaxy J5 Prime is set to hit the market by the end of September.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is Galaxy J7's upgraded version will come with the addition of features like the fingerprint sensor on the home button. Based on reports, the differences between both versions are seen in the new version's full-HD display instead of HD display, a higher front camera resolution of 8MP instead of 5MP and 3GB of memory instead of 2GB.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, along with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while 8MP on the front camera with an f/1.9 aperture on board. The new device will be sporting 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable through microSD card up to 256GB,  Gadgets reported.

Meanwhile, other Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime's specs are reportedly similar with  the Galaxy J7. The dual-SIM Galaxy J7 Prime comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and bears a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080x1920 pixels IPS display, along with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and runs on a 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM.

Samsung J-Series mobile device offers several features such as Wi-Fi connectivity, 4G LTE, GPS or A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1 and 3.5 mm audio jack in terms of the phone's connectivity options. Moreover, it is powered by a 3300mAh battery and measures at 151.5x74.9x8.1mm, Economic Times reported.
