Nintendo NX rumors suggest that it is going to be a handheld hybrid that plugs into a TV yet can also be carried around. Although the Nintendo console may not be as powerful as the Xbox One Scorpio or PS4 Pro, some tech analysts believe that it can bring the Japanese company back on top.

The Nintendo NX is a unique option for PS4 and Xbox One. In fact, the original Wii was able to defeat PS3 and Xbox 360 in spite being far from being as powerful as the two consoles, given the reports about Nintendo's much wider appeal. For PC users who want a console to go with it, analysts believe that they will opt for Nintendo NX.

Nintendo NX is also rumored to have the portability of a handheld and the power of a home console. Compared to the Wii, which seemed like a tablet yet had none of its functionality, the NX can provide the ability to play on the move, or even when relaxing at home.

Other Nintendo NX speculations include the console's capability to run mobile games such as "Super Mario Run", "Miitomo" and "Animal Crossing" once it unveils in March 2017. Although it is unclear if this means the NX will support non-Nintendo mobile games, the idea of playing these casual games brings much excitement to the gaming public. Nintendo NX is also rumored to feature some augmented reality support, which could mean playing the popular "Pokemon Go", Express reported.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Nintendo NX is a "reboot" within the walls of the company, and that it will have a 720p screen resolution. However, some believe that the upcoming console will be much different from the current Wii nunchuck, especially in terms of cost since the new NX is expected to be more affordable than the previous controllers from Nintendo.

Nintendo NX is also believed to use infrared technology, which in general will not be the primary way to control the games. Rumors claim that, some of which is going to be a Nintendo NX exclusive, iTech Post reported.
