'Gotham' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Updates: Everything That We Need To Know!

"Gotham" Season 3 will have Jim Gordon (Ben Mckenzie) struggle in fighting criminals coming to the city. These criminals have powers that the enforcement cannot handle.

According to YAHOO TV, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) is returning to "Gotham" Season 3 and it is going to be a game-changer for The Penguin. Robin Lord Taylor who plays The Penguin in the series explained that Mooney and Penguin cannot co-exist in the same city. Her return gives Penguin more power to be ruthless because he is more powerful when at the bottom.

Taylor added to share that The Penguin is not a hero because there are no heroes in "Gotham." There were some instances in the previous season that Penguin wanted to exert order. He did not want to destroy things. His desire for order is the one thing that keeps him connected to Gordon in "Gotham" Season 3.

Aside from The Penguin coming back to the city, Dr. Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) also comes back to "Gotham" Season 3 according to a report in FOX News Latino. Lee is the medical practitioner at the Gotham City Police Department. She is also the love interest of Jim Gordon.

It can be remembered that Lee and Jim's relationship ended last season. The also lost their baby. That was the reason why she left the city. She also hoped that Gordon will find her but did not really make the attempt to. "Gotham" Season 3 will pick up the pieces from when the couple separated.

Lee comes back to the city in "Gotham" Season 3 hopeful to find Gordon again. However she finds out that he is already with someone new. Lee moves on and finds a new love interest. She meets Mario Falcone (James Carpinello), who is the son of mob leader Carmine Falcone.

In "Gotham" Season 3, it is not only Lee that has a new love interest but so does Jim Gordon. He has a new relationship with Valerie Vale (Jaime Chung). The show gets to be interesting with these relationships while surrounded by crime and violence.

Fans and followers can expect "Gotham" Season 3 to air on September 23, 2016.
