'Jurassic World 2' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Updates: What We Know So Far!

 "Jurassic World" is coming back and this time it is set to be a trilogy. This is the first of the three films of which the other two are to be released in 2018.

According to a report in YAHOO Lifestyle, Director Colin Trevorrow is replaced by Director Antonio Bayona in the upcoming films. Bayona takes over the directorial duties for the "Jurassic World" trilogy. Bayona stated in a report that  Colin Trevorrow already envisioned Jurassic world to be a trilogy a long time ago. He added that the second chapter is interesting and is already written.

 "Jurassic World 2" is the second installment and is set to start filming next year. The main characters, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas would be returning to reprise their roles. It is already official that the film is going to be a trilogy.

A report in INDEPENDENT states that "Jurassic World 2" will have the same thought as to the "Jurassic Park" legacy by Steven Speilberg. Bayona is known for gothic series such as "Penny Dreadful" and for horror films like "The Orphanage" and "A Monster Calls."  "Jurassic World 2" is also expected to be darker than the previous "Jurassic Park" films.

"Jurassic World 2" is themed after the quote by Dr. Alan Grant in "Jurassic Park."  It also has been reported that Claire's (Bryce Dallas) character is going to transform all throughout the trilogy.

Neil is also rumored to return in the "Jurassic World 2." Other stars joining him are Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern. An official confirmation of these casts set to return to the movie is yet to be announced.The first of the trilogy, titled "Jurassic World" was a hit last year and made USD 1.6 billion worldwide. It was the fourth highest grossing film of all time.

Fans of the famous "Jurassic Park" legacy can expect "Jurassic World 2" to be back in the big screens on  June 22, 2018 in North America. No confirmation yet as to the airing of the third installment.
