NBA trade rumors between Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings are currently circulating. There are speculations that the Kings and Cavaliers can trade two players each to improve their chances this coming 2016-2017 season.

Cleveland - Sacramento Mutual Trade Benefit

Some NBA pundits are speculating that both teams can benefit if they make a trade. The Cavaliers could trade Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson for Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. The Cleveland Cavaliers won the last season with most of its present roster. Why would they trade some of their players now?

Kevin Love Struggling with Cleveland Cavaliers?

Kevin Love is reportedly having trouble fitting his style of play with the Cavaliers. He is a good player but Cleveland simply does not know how to effectively use him in the court. The Cavaliers are well aware, however, that it could get a good trade for him.

Sacramento Kings Struggles with DeMarcus Cousins  & Rudy Gay

DeMarcus Cousins is currently the Sacramento King's best player. Why would they trade him? There have been reports that the Sacramento team could no longer put up with Cousin's "mental and emotional issues". Team management is reportedly willing to trade him despite his exceptional talent.

Meanwhile, Rudy Gay seems to have a lot in common with Love. He is also struggling to fit in with the Sacramento King's style of play despite being a talented player. Gay has reportedly asked to be traded for quite some time now. But the Kings could not find a suitable trade for him.

Trade Could Help Cleveland Cavaliers Retained Championship

If the supposed trade pushes through, the Cousins and Gay could help LeBron James and the rest of the Cavalier team defend the championship title. One of the strongest contenders they would face in the 2016-2017 is the Washington Wizards who has Kevin Durant and  Stephen Curry in its roster.
