Bad Boy for Life by Sean 'Diddy' Combs, back then P. Diddy, plays in the background. WWE 2K17's Who's Next trailer features a variety of superstars from the rosters of WWE and NXT. A montage of authentic and well-rendered scenes, the trailer boasts a reveal of just who's included in the upcoming wrestling game. Judging by their screentime, though, the main attraction seems to be a behind-the-scenes brawl between Legend Bill Goldberg and Superstar Brock Lesnar. For those who are longtime fans, this may be a nod to the former's final appearance vs the latter in WrestleMania XX back in 2004.

The next installation has a lot to follow up on, as it's predecessor, WWE 2K16, has had postitive reviews with an 8.8/10 score form IGN. Aside from the stunning graphics shown by the trailers, the in-game features have also been revealed.

First off, we have a shift of focus from the arcade-style brawl into a more authentic-free-for-all gameplay. Players can decide to duke it out just about anywhere, from backstage to right in front of the fans themselves.

Next up is the quality of creation. There are many customizations to be made. In fact, one can build a superstar from scratch, then fill in their entrance, victory and other video sequences to fulfill a complete and authentic WWE experience.

In an attempt to improve on their universe mode, 2K17 will feature a brand new Promo Engine that lets superstars share their thoughts and emotions. This ties in well with the Career Mode also found within the game that allows for players to build up a wrestler to superstardom.

WWE 2K17 is slated for an October release for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. For those who are avid fans or with cash to spare, pre-ordering bonuses give the buyer the ability to control Bill Goldberg, as well as two additional arenas to wrestle in, WCW Monday Nitro, and Halloween Havoc.
