Microsoft released its first iOS keyboard for Apple's iPhone. The Word Flow keyboard made by Microsoft was released this week. The tech giant made its debut late than Google for iOS, the keyboard software made by both companies are heading with quite good competition on iOS.

According to The Verge, Microsoft released one of the biggest addition in its new search interface that allows to find what is needed, such as GIF's, emoji, images, contacts and much more without going away from the keyboard. This featured keyboard will surely bring relaxation to the fast typing users. Word Flow has the capability to pick out GIF's from the words typed and brings it on with a relevant image. Microsoft has come up with new themes, iOS text replacement and cursor placements using 3D Touch controls.

Microsoft has come up with new keyboard update after Google released its own Gboard-keyboard with built-in search option. The two companies want to have a firm position in the iOS with their new updates of keyboard. Earlier iPhone users had keyboard option like SwiftKey, TouchPal, and Minuum and need to pick one of them. Microsoft entering iOS also brings competition for Google.

According to pcmag, the best feature which Microsoft has incorporated is its shape writing. This feature was indeed available with Android phones but now made available to iOS. This feature allows the user to just swipe the finger on the letters which make the word and the keyboard will assume the words and come up with the results. This feature will make typing easier for the rapid typist and eliminates the use of space bar between each word.

The handed arc mode in the Word Flow Keyboard is also the best one to look and use at. In order to use it, swipe on either curved arrow at top left or top right, and the keyboard morphs into a curved layout that fits the reach of your thumb-either left or right, since there's a curved arrow button for both sides. The arc mode seems to look good and aesthetic on phone like iPhone. There is cool animation that lights up the keys when the user taps the bottoms on keyboard.

Speed - for the users who want to type quickly the Word Flow keyboard is the best one as it allows swipe type option which is not available in iPhone's default keyboard.
