Android 5.0.1 Lollipop For Moto G and Moto G 2014, Android 5.0.2 For the 2012 Nexus 7

Two of the best budget smartphones Moto G and the next version of it Moto G 2014 are getting Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OTA update. Google had earlier released the update but pulled it back for unknown reasons.

Both of these Motorola smartphones provide best value for money.

The Moto G 2014 sports a 5 inch 720*1280 resolution display powered by Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. The phone has a 8 MP primary and 2 MP secondary camera along with stereo speakers. The previous version of Moto G 2014 sports a slightly smaller display, (4.5 inch) with same CPU, 5MP Camera and 1.3 MP secondary camera.

 According to reports, Google is also releasing a separate update for 2012 Nexus 7. The device was not included in the 5.0.1 release, arrived for other Nexus devices in the past month. However now, Google is updating Nexus 7 2012 wi-fi edition with Android 5.0.2 with build number LRX22G.

Google has not yet provided details about what's new in the 5.0.3 update but a change-log of the can been seen on Funky Android.

Android 5.0.2 comprises two main updates: one fixing storage performance and other fixing bugs in AlarmManager.
