Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Samsung Galaxy J7 2016: How do they fare?

The battle between Xiaomi and Samsung continues - and today, we are comparing two similar models in terms of features and size - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs. Samsung Galaxy J7 2016. So, what do they have to offer?First of all, it's important to state that both of these phones have been released a few months ago. The J7 2016 release date happened in April this year, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was released two months before that.

Both of the smartphones represent the newest features and technology that adapts to Android - but also offers a lot of unique features. The Redmi Note 3 and Galaxy J7 2016 both weigh around 170 grams and both feature a 5,5 inch screen with around 72% screen-to-body ratio. However, the amazing pixel density in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (403 ppi) outperforms J7's pixel power of only 267ppi accordingly.When it comes to the chipset, both of the phones are powered on a quad-core chip.

However, the Galaxy J7 2016 has a 1.6 Ghz Cortex A53 compared to the same, yet smaller 1.4 Ghz chip found in the Redmi Note 3. Aside from that, the Galaxy J7 2016 packs an octa-core 1.6 Ghz Cortex A53 as well, making it a winner in this category.

The camera comparison between the Redmi Note 3 and the Galaxy J7 features two different cameras, however with similar features. Although the Galaxy J7 2016 has a 13 megapixel camera, the Redmi Note 3's 16 megapixel camera supports quote the same features - plus a panorama feature. The secondary camera is very similar, and both of them support a 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

 The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 can be found in two internal storage variations of 16GB and 32GB - powered with 2GB and 3GB RAM feature accordingly. On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 2016 comes with a single internal storage variation of 16GB and 2GB RAM accordingly.
