Gotham is returning for its third season on Fox in the fall and here is some good news for fans, regarding the cast and characters. The upcoming season 3 will not just introduce them to some new badass villains, it will also bring forth Ivy Poison, as the little Ivy Pepper will transform into a full-fledged adult.

Clare Foley, who has been essaying the intermittent role of the orphan, is not coming back and a casting call has been given for a new actress. The showrunners are looking for someone in her late teens, who can do justice to the unique villainous role. Also, Ivy Poison will not just return as an adult, she will become a series regular and therefore, fans will get to see more of the female would-be eco-terrorist.

As for the new villains, it is going to be equally exciting as Mad Hatter is expected to show up along with the Tweedle Brothers. Solomon Grundy is also high on the list of speculated villains, which makes for a quite a terrific trio.

Executive producer John Stephens has confirmed the news about Mad Hatter, much to the delight of his fans, who have been waiting for his arrival, after references were made to the villain during the second season. Stephen also talked about villain Talon from the Court of Owls, joining the show, which means few others might also join him.

Though he also mentioned the name of Solomon Grundy, he was very quick about it and did not say a lot. Still, the news is welcome as fans are eager to see the zombie villain. They have gotten a dose of his villainy on CW's 'Arrow' as he appeared on its second season but it was not sufficient. He was killed off soon and nothing was heard from him thereafter.

Well, the entry of these bad guys is sure to lift up the ratings of the show as there will be more action-packed fights between the new villains and Batman.
