Kpop News: EXO Runs The Show For Dominating Music Charts With ‘EX’ACT’

On June 9 at midnight KST, EXO released their 3rd full-length album and right after a couple of hours it has gained an all-kill on various music charts both international and domestic. One of EXO's title track "Monster" gained so much love which makes it number one in different charts including MelOn, Genie, Soribada, Olleh Music, Mnet, Naver Music, Bugs Music, and Monkey3.

"Lucky One" also rose to number two following their other tracks included in the album.

EXO's popularity is not only in Korea but it is also seen internationally. "EX'ACT" album has claimed the first spot in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam's iTunes charts. It even surges top 10 in the Philippines, Japan, Russia, Finland, Turkey, Mexico, Denmark, Sweden, and Canada, and is in 15th place in the United States.

The boy's comeback also crashed SNS. They were trending right after the release with the hashtag #EXOGrandComeback.

 Also, the group's album hit the mark as the highest pre-order sales surpass over 660,000 copies. Korean version of the album sales marks 442,890 and 217,290 of the Chinese version, a total of 660,180 copies. This surpasses the sales of their previous album EXODUS that was released in 2015, pre-orders reached 502,440 copies that also surpassed the half mark of million sales.

EXO has started their comeback stage on Mnet's 'M! Countdown' and continue onto KBS' 'Music Bank' on the 10th,MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 11th, and SBS' 'Inkigayo' on the 12th.
