Ahead of the Watch Dogs 2 world premiere reveal event, an ad for the game has spilled the beans about the sequel's San Francisco set and November release.

Since the release of first title, fans expect Ubisoft to prepare a sequel for Watchdogs. It was finally confirmed with the official release of a game trailer along with the announcement that the company will also host a reveal event on June 5 on the game's official website (WatchDogs.com).

However, no details have been shared that would provide further details about the game. Unfortunately, an unexpected ad turned up on IGN spoiling public surprise. As per leaked marketing ad for Watchdogs 2, the launching date is slated for November 15, 2016 in San Francisco, Purex Box reported.

Last April, a developer at the game studio initially confirmed about the forthcoming sequel. The said programmer appeared to have done significant amount of work on the original title including its downloadable expansion.

Meanwhile, Watchdogs 2 is cited as the centerpiece of Ubisoft's E3 showcase that will feature other games like For Honor, South Park : The Fractured but Whole, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, and VR game Eagle Flight according to BGR report.

If the leaked marketing release ad is not enough, well another purported image of the game's protagonist has been making rounds online. The snapshot which initially surfaced on Instagram (which has since been removed) has been captured online by NerdLeaks.

The picture shows a man who seems to be of Asian descent wearing a baseball cap with a handkerchief covering his mouth. The leaked main character is also shown sporting a messenger bag with a pistol in his one hand.

Ubisoft has already confirmed the game's ongoing development but it refuses to comment on a seemingly work-in-progress artistic render of the protagonist. The first title reportedly sold over 9 million retail copies.
