In an excitement build-up surrounding the purported specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, speculations have been making rounds lately. If rumored leaks prove accurate, the forthcoming edition of the Note series will reportedly feature a dual-edge display.

Just a few days ago, a 3D video render of the highly anticipated flagship reveals some predicted designs based on careful analysis of Samsung's previous Note lineup releases and online speculations. Now, latest leaks from tech reporter, Shai Mizrachi, revealed pictures of Galaxy Note's purported sixth generation flagship uploaded on his Twitter.

In addition to the leaked images (also featured on Android Authority), Mizrachi revealed that upcoming phablet will be 7.8mm thick probably due to larger battery, 153mm tall, and 74.5mm wide. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 6 will reportedly be armed with Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8890 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM, and a humungous 32GB storage offering, Deccan Chronicle reported.

Here is a slew of other reported features of the Note 6 as per the International Business Times:

1. The device could come with a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch screen.

2. A couple of sensors will be featured on an area above the display features with proximity and ambient sensors on the left side. An interesting security feature will make use of an iris scanner to unlock the device.

3. Like its Galaxy S7 cousin, Note 6 will arrive with IP68 certification that would make the device dust and waterproof.

4. The phablet will reportedly have near-identical camera features such as the 12MP camera featured on Galaxy S7 smartphones.

5. Note 6 is widely rumored to include an S-Pen stylus, USB Type-C port plus an LED flash for the selfie camera.

The device is expected to be released sometime this fall with price ranging from $870-$943. Meanwhile, there are swirling rumors of the Korean consumer electronics giant skipping the entire 6th generation class and move on with Galaxy Note 7 to make the device at par with Apple's high-end iPhone 7.
