Wrestlers making the move and progressing from the ring to the big screen is not something new or unexpected. Wrestlers like Dwayne Johnson, John Cena and Hulk Hogan have made this coveted move. All of them have starred in their own movies, and are actors in their own right.

Stephen Farrelly, famously known as Sheamus in the WWE arena, has recently got added to this elite list starring as Rocksteady in the movie 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows'. However, his plans and ambitions are much higher as he eyes creating benchmarks in his cinematic adventures.

According to reports, in the past, Sheamus had expressed his interest in the characterization of Venom in Spiderman, admitting that he is a big fan of the character. He was deeply impressed by the comics that he read in his youth, and was connected to Eddie Brock who played the role of Venom in Spiderman comics.

Apart from the Venom in Spiderman, Sheamus was extremely impressed by the roles in Marvel Cinematic Universe including 'The Walking Dead' and 'Game of Thrones.' He also expressed his interest and inclination towards returning to the character of Rocksteady in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3.'

However, there is a fair amount of uncertainty and negative sentiments on the potential follow-up for 'Out of the Shadows'. The movie grossed $11 million on Friday (post its release on Thursday) with forecasts of making $28 to 30 million in the box-office weekend. Although this would place the movie on the top in terms of box-office collections this weekend, still the success may be short-lived as the movie is inferior to its predecessor which had grossed $65 million in the box-office weekend.
