So, the time has come. Season 3 of 'Girl Meets World' premiere is here and takes viewers on a new journey with Riley, Lucas, Maya and group as they start their rollercoaster ride of high school life.

And if the Twitter post of Rider Strong is any indication, Cory's past might feature in the third season. Strong, who is known for playing Shawn Hunter in "Boy Meets World", has shared a photo of a ski-lodge and captioned it with a statement saying that he and his brother are directing a couple of great, nostalgic episodes for the show.

Now, the photo has created curiosity among fans because the ski-lodge has a dark past associated with Cory and Topanga. Twitterati fans have responded to the update and are talking about what could appear on the season, related with the ski-lodge.

Well, if we go back in time, one can remember the lodge as the place where Cory cheated on Topanga in the original show "Boy Meets World". And therefore, if it makes an appearance in the third season, bad memories are sure to be revived.

As per speculations, it is being suggested that Cory will take his children to the lodge to tell them about his dark past. The third season might also see Lauren playing a cameo. However, the speculations have not been officially confirmed and these are just conjectures of his past making an unpleasant comeback.

It may be mentioned here that "Girl Meets World" is the story of Riley Matthews and her best friend Maya Hart. The show is a sequel of "Boy Meets World" that started off with the journey of Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and progressed with him entering into a relationship with Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel). They grew up together, got married and then had two children- Riley and Auggie.

'Girl Meets World' is the coming-of-age story of Riley Matthews and the third season focuses on her high school journey. The season will have two-part premiere, with the first airing on Friday, June 3 and second on Sunday, June 5 on Disney channel.
