The former F1 Champion and the Legend Michael Schumacher is still battling fiercely with his health condition after having a skiing accident two years ago. He was in the coma for six months from December 2013 until June 2014. He left the hospital in Grenoble for further rehabilitation at the University Hospital (CHUV) in Lausanne. Now his wife is taking care of him closely.

Last week, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm accepted a lifetime award by Nurburgring on behalf of Michael Schumacher. In the speech, Kehm made a short speech honoring Schumacher.

"This award is an acknowledgement of his great willpower, his motivation, his talent, his discipline and his work ethic," Kehm said. Kehm also explained to the audience that everyone should accept and learn to deal with what happened to Schumacher, adding that she will "continue to hope and do everything so that it will be different again."

While Michael is still struggling to recovery, there was some good news as well. ex-Ferrari chief Luca Di Montezemolo lately said that the German-born racer is now 'reacting' to medical treatment.

"I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting. I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation. And I really hope," Montezemolo said as quoted by Express.

However, he didn't elaborate what he meant by "reacting" specifically.

He was victorious in 91 Grand Prix and is the only seven-time world champion in the Formula One history.

In August 1995, Michael married his wife Corinna Betsch. They have two children, a daughter Gina-Marie, born in 1997 and a son Mick, born March 22, 1999.
