Ever since the popular MTV show "Teen Wolf" was renewed for Season 6, fans have been longing for its return.

The cliffhanger ending of Season 5 left them asking for more and now they are happy that the return is finally happening. Season 6 is under works but there is also some sad news. According to reports, fan-favorite Dylan O'Brien is leaving the show forever. His health issues have forced him to bid goodbye to the series and he will be replaced by One Direction's Harry Styles.

The injuries, which he suffered during the shooting of the movie "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure", are causing him some serious trouble and have left him incapable of joining the filming of season 6. Insiders say that he will need a considerable period of time to recover from the injuries and therefore, it is nearly impossible for him to return.

He has suffered facial fractures and lacerations, which take time to heal and since the accident happened in March, it is still too early to predict anything. But it is very likely that he is going to skip the show.

And to fill in his shoes, singer Harry Styles has been roped in by the show creators. But there is still no official confirmation from the show's team regarding Harry's entry. So, fans will have to wait until the mystery clears.

Meanwhile, reports about an interesting and shocking season 6 with some very exciting plots is doing the rounds. Scott McCall (played by Tyler Posey) will have a trip on the upcoming season and this means that Stiles (played by Dylan O'Brien) won't be missed so dearly by the viewers (if he does not appear).

It may be mentioned here that Dylan O'Brien is one of the familiar faces of "Teen Wolf" and he has a huge fan following. As for the season's premiere, MTV has not made any announcement but the show is expected to come back around 2017.
