Pirates Of The Caribbean Could See Penelope Cruz Along With Paul Mccartney

The fifth season of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,' which is all set to release on the May 26, 2017, will have Penelope Cruz as a new cast member.

According to reports, the inclusion of the 42 year actress in the fifth season materialized during the additional filming of the film last month in Canada. There were reports of the appearance of Paul McCartney as well in a special role in the movie. And with the news about Penelope's inclusion, fans are pretty excited.

Apart from that, there have been formal announcements by the franchise on the villain of the movie, and it is none other than Captain Salazar which would be played by Javier Bardem post his heroics in negative roles in the James Bond movie Skyfall.

There have been rumors that the evil character played by Bardem is an old enemy of Captain Jack Sparrow, and having circumvented the Devil's triangle, Captain Salazar promises to kill all the pirates of the sea including Captain Jack. Penelope Cruz could be involved in this dramatic situation.

Rumors suggest that, Penelope, would play Angelica - a pirate whose characterization is more towards being a love interest of Captain Jack. However, there has been no official confirmation yet. If rumors be believed, she would take a negative role trying to prevent Captain Jack to access the Poseidon's Trident for becoming the ruler of the seas.

On the other side, Penelope's movie Ma Ma is also in the news. The Spanish movie shows that Penelope is a lone woman who is diagnosed with breast cancer. However, her quest of securing an athletic future for her son makes her engage with Arturo, who is a soccer scout. But, she eventually falls in love with him. The movie ends with a happy family, and the presence of Arturo provides a soothing experience to Penelope's character helping her living her life the fullest, even though she is on her deathbed.
