So, with the sixth episode, the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' has moved past the halfway mark and as was being anticipated, things have started picking pace.

Titled 'Blood of My Blood,' the sixth episode was about reunion, revival, rows and also redemption. While Lord Tarly banished his bloodline, forcing Sam to leave with Gilly and their son, Uncle Benjen Stark surfaced to save his nephew Bran. Uncle Jaime was stripped of his status by nephew, King Tommen, Arya remembered her bloodline's moral code and Daenerys reminded her army of her familial right.

Sam comes to meet his father, Lord Tarly along with Gilly and the lord is not the least happy, especially after finding out that Gilly is a wildling. After some heated exchange, Sam leaves, but not before stealing his father's Valyrian steel sword. He also takes away Gilly and their child.

Bran, who is still lost in his visions, is being stretched in the forest by Meera, with the white walkers still chasing them. And when the killers pounce on the two, Benjen Stark pops up on the scene and saves his nephew and Meera from getting killed. He has returned from the dead.

Arya, who had been assigned to murder Lady Crane finds herself facing a moral dilemma. And as Jaqen had expected, she drops the idea and saves her from downing the drink, she had poisoned. She goes into hiding and yes, also recovers her needle.

The face-off between The High Sparrow and Jaime Lannister turns out to be a fiasco. No blood is shed and Margaery is also saved from the walk of shame. The shrewd man has other plans, which comes to the fore when King Tommen reveals that he and Queen Margaery have accepted the faith.

Later, Tommen strips Jaime of his Lord Commander status and sends him off to Riverrun, the place where Brienee is also coming to enlist the support of Blackfish. And faraway, across the sea, the badass Daenerys addresses her army with Drogo in tow, motivating them for the big battle.
