'Sherlock Holmes 3' is back. To all the awaiting fans this would be the perfect reason for you to hop around. Co producer Joel Silver recently revealed plans for the film.

Robert Downey Jr. had already revealed earlier, during his interviews for 'Captain America: Civil War' that 'Sherlock Holmes 3' is still under development, according to Slash Film.

The actor further said there is a possibility for the movie to start shooting later this year. The delay in the shooting is because James Coyne was tapped to write for production. Coyne is known for "Vikingdom," "Four Towers," and "Puncture Wounds."

Other reason for the delay is Downey Jr.'s busy schedule as we know, he has been working hard in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Guy Ritchie is too busy with other projects including "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur."

Though all the main people of the movie are busy, Silver recently told Collider: "It looks like it could happen this fall. Downey said he wants to do it. He's gotta launch into another Avengers movie, right after the New Year, so we're trying to get it done," Silver said.

Adding to it, Jude Law is also available to support Ritchie and Downey Jr. to start production.

"Jude [Law] is available and Downey is available, and we're hoping we can get it done. If it works, great. If not, we'll do it another time. But, it looks like it could happen now," Silver added.

When asked if "Sherlock Holmes 3" will be the last of the franchise, Silver clarified that it would be Downey Jr.'s call if he wants to stop playing the iconic role, and it would also be up to the rest of the cast members. He added that in other franchises such as the Bond films, movies were produced "as long as people want to do it."
