Michael Schumacher Health Update News: Is the Formula One Legend Getting Better?

There's good news. Michael Schumacher is reacting to the treatment that he is receiving.

According to Michael's ex-boss Luca Di Montezemolo the Formula One legend is showing some reactino to the treatment.

Mr Di Montezemolo said: "I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting.

"I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation. And I really hope."

On 29 December 2013, Schumacher was skiing with his 14-year-old son Mick coming off the French Alps. While crossing an unsecured off-piste area he fell and hit his head on a rock, getting serious a head injury despite wearing a ski helmet.

He was in a medically induced coma for six months in the hospital before moving to home care.

Montezemolo had told CNN that he is happy that Schumacher has been reacting however, he did not elaborate what he meant by he "reacted" to the treatment.

Ever since Schumacher has been moved to his home on the to Lake Geneva where his wife is taking care of him closely. In August 1995, Michael married Corinna Betsch. They have two children, a daughter Gina-Marie, born in 1997 and a son Mick, born March 22, 1999. He has always been very protective of his private life.

Michael Schumacher is a record breaking F1 racer with 7 championships.
