Facebook in their recent updates have enabled live videos for everyone as a part of their experimental policies which also included chatbots system for Facebook pages running their businesses online through the help of the Social media giants.

During their annual F8 developer conference, the same 'live video' feature was made available for each and every one. The same was restricted to verified profiles mostly including celebrities just to add more salt to their wounds. Seems, like after an arguably successful stint in experiments and bug-fixes, normal users can also start on it. However, things changed quickly, people were constantly abuzz with experimenting the same for drones. Now's it's all a reality. The new drone controlled app from DJI which supports Facebook Live video streaming is now available. The app allows pilots to beam a drone's eye view in real time across Facebook using a smartphone and without waiting for the drone to land.At the moment, the feature is available in the DJI GO app for iOS, with owners of a Phantom or Inspire model now able to broadcast. The feature will also soon be available for Android devices.

DJI have also commented that for users who prefer not to use Facebook Live as their live-streaming platform, Periscope integration will also be available, with an added annotation feature allowing users to add arrows, sketches, and labels to their flight. Drone owners who are now curious to experiment the same can make use of the new features from the said manufacturers, however it does come at a price point which for now, is yet to be made public. However, live video streaming from a drone seems like a pretty beautiful idea. Witch hunters, bigfoot hunters, gold rush, whatever you name it, can be now made possible due to this fantastic feature that Facebook released off late. However, the success of the same shall be estimated at a later period when Facebook releases their quarterly results.
