There is an ongoing special week in GTA 5 and GTA Online called 'Capture Week' that revolves around Capture Jobs in GTA online which runs from May 20 to May 26.

In the Capture Week event, players are offered double GTA dollars when doing any Capture mission from May 20 through May 22 including missions both created by fans and Rockstar Games plus a special playlist that can be accessed from the loading screen.

From May 23 to 26, Capture jobs still offer some perks but bonuses are awarded in the form of double RP. A playlist will still be available on the said time window but with different menu of Capture missions from earlier selection.

Here is the Capture Week event schedule as per Game Spot:

May 20 to May 22: Double GTA$ & RP Playlist - 16 players (GTA: All Abhorred, Contend: Townhall Trinity, Raid: Wargames)

May 23 to May 26: Double RP Playlist - 8 players (Contend: Condo-monium, GTA: Grab a Cab, Hold: Freight Fight)

Apart from abovementioned perks, there is also a wide array of discounts that include the following according to a Neurogadget report: Luxor Deluxe (50%); basic Kuruma (50%); armored Kuruma (50%); Engine mods (50%); Turbo mods (50%); Brakes (50%); Heists Clothing (50%); Heists Outfits (50%); and Explosives (50%).

To make a memorable Capture Week conclusion, Rockstar Games is handing off an exclusive in-game 'Meltdown' T-shirt for participating. To receive it, players simply have to jump online at some point during the weekly event.

Meanwhile, some game observers think something is not right with the Capture Week event. Usually, online weekly events contain themes that serve as a precursor to a subsequent DLC release. According to iDigital Times, Capture Week doesn't seem to cover anything that is related to the supposed Stunt-Finance-Felony update that was earlier announced by Rockstar in a press release.
