If there is one player in European football who is in the transfer wish list of almost top clubs in the continent then it is Juventus' 23 year old French central midfielder Paul Pogba and over the past few transfer windows, he has been the subject of intense bidding wars in spite of the fact that the Italian champions have steadfastly refused to part with him. However it seems that English Premier League giants Manchester United have made Paul Pogba their top midfield target this summer and they are going to do everything in their power to bring back their former youth player back to Old Trafford.

According to the latest reports published by the publication One World Sport, Juventus have now decided that this year would be the right time to cash in one their super star midfielder and have slapped a price tag of £61.5 million for anyone who would like to acquire his signature. Manchester United are in actue need of an all action box to box central midfielder following the misadventures with the likes of Fellaini, Herrera, Scweinsteiger and an ageing Michael Carrick and they believe that Pogba is the perfect solution to their midfield problems.Needless to say, they are prepared to pay the fee that Juventus are demanding however United are not the only club who are fighting for the Frenchman's signature.

French champions and financial heavyweights Paris Saint Germain are also interested in signing the French midfielder in order to mount a serious assault on the UEFA Champions League next season. The transfer fee would not be a problem for them at all and the fact that United have missed out on UEFA Champions League for 2016-17 season does make PSG's position a bit stronger. Although it is true that Pogba has stated in the past that he would never go back to United after not being given an opportunity in the first team during his last stint at Old Trafford, it is expected that a higher salary could tilt the scales in favour of the Red Devils.
