Samsung is reportedly in a strong market position after rolling out its first set of flagship devices that includes Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus. Heading out early in the retail market allowed the company to offset the usually low smartphone sales in the first quarter. Now, a number of Android leaks doing rounds in rumor land suggest that Samsung's upcoming phablet model may prove better than Apple products

According to purported leaks reported by Breathe Cast, the forthcoming Galaxy Note 6 is slated to arrive with a number of additional functions aside from being purely a smartphone. The latest flagship from the Note series might also serve as a touchpad based on a leaked patent indicating the device in a laptop dock. Furthermore, the device could reportedly switch to using Windows once connected to a laptop. If utilized either as a smartphone or mini-tablet, it goes back to its default Android operating system.

In addition to the touchpad function, there is also a rumored patent on the so-called Galaxy Note Pen which can be pulled out from the holder on the side and used to prop the phablet in upright position that allows for enhanced viewing.

According to Neurogadget, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 includes a slew of internal specifications which make it superb to any Apple gadgets than came before it. The phablet is reportedly equipped with Snapdragon 823 processor, generous offering of 6 or 8GB of RAM, 8-inch display with pressure-sensitive screen, 25-megapixel camera, a humungous 256GB internal storage, and 4,200 mAh battery for longer energy life.

Meanwhile, if the 2016 models aren't good enough for tech consumers, wait 'til Samsung releases its five flagship smartphones next year with one model code named Galaxy X rumored to be foldable handset armed with 4k display. For a long while, Samsung has been quite silent on its recently leaked foldable display mobile that the South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on.

If rumors prove accurate as per Science World Report, Galaxy might stretch its usual surprises beyond what S7 models and recent Note phablets can offer. Back in April, there was an unconfirmed news that Samsung is putting its resources on making a 5-inch mobile handset that can utilized as a 7-inch phablet when opened.
