Kpop News: EXO’s Lay generously donates to his Alma Mater

EXO's Lay shows generosity to his Alma mater in middle school.

Lay was reportedly revealed that he will donate consistently for over 10 years to his Alma Mater 'Hunan Masters College Middle School'. The donation will serve as providing scholars to juniors who aspires to proceed their careers in Arts.

According to reports, Lay has founded a scholarship entitled "Zhang Yi Xing Arts Scholarship" Lay will be donating a total of 100,000 CNY (~ 15,308 USD) per year. Lay stated, "I decided to provide scholarships to aid my juniors who have their own dreams."

Meanwhile, Lay has been working on his individual worship in China provided by SM Entertainment since last year. The said workshop was established in late March of 2015 and has been used to help Lay in his Chinese activities. The workshop is registered under Lay's name. The format of the workshop maybe different from the Korean Entertainment Industry, but it is greatly beneficiary for it's widely used in China with relating to Chinese celebrities.

Lay mentioned that "The establishment of this workshop will become a foundation for solidifying my intention to honor my contract, and I hope it becomes an example of contract fulfillment. I believe that my Chinese activities will be beneficial to EXO and the company. I hope to contribute to the growth of the company and help the relationship between the two cultures." as Soompi reported.

Also, Lay is busy keeping up for EXO's comeback this June.
