Over the years plenty of WWE legends and past heroes have gone into a negative spiral of sorts post the end of thei rwrestling career for a variety of reasons and it certainly seems to be the case with former WWE super star Jimmy Snuka. According to the latest reports by Yahoo and other outlets, the wrestler has been certified as mentally incompetent by an expert and as such incompetent to be tried in a court of law for the murder of his girlfriend. The tests were done by Dr. Frank Dattilio, who stated in his report that Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka has suffered from too many knocks to the head throughout his wrestling career and as a result of that he has been rendered mentally incompetent to be subjected to a court trial by the Leight County Court.

The report states, "The Jimmy Snuka murder trial hinges on whether Lehigh County Judge Kelly Banach will weigh the evidence and decide if Snuka is able to stand trial for the murder charges. Dattilio testified for the defense, and a psychologist for the prosecution will take the stand and testify on Wednesday. After that, the judge will make her decision.Dattilio determined the damage to Snuka's brain is permanent, and he will likely never return to normal competence. He also said that Snuka does not even understand the charges or why he was arrested. Jimmy has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The prosecution has shown video of Snuka in a wrestling ring last year and showed him cutting a promo in character from a recent appearance as well."

Snuka is being tried for the murder of his girlfriend Nancy Argentino, who was found dead in a hotel room back in 1983 due to head injuries inflicted by a heavy object. Since Snuka was with her at the time and the couple were travelling from one WWE show to the other, the former WWE star and icon is the only suspect in the case.
