New wave of iPhone talk, contradicting earlier ones, is doing the rounds as we approach this weekend.

Recent reports suggest Apple could introduce dual-cameras in all iPhone 7 Plus models after seeing reactions to Huawei's flagship P9 that features dual-camera. The speculation is attributed to reputed KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who earlier predicted Apple would reserve dual-cameras for select iPhone 7 Plus devices.

The revised prediction implies Apple may not create a higher-end iPhone 7 Plus. Instead, all iPhone 7 Plus devices would be equal. Kuo has also reportedly predicted that all the devices will feature 3 GB RAM to meet the demands of dual-camera operation.

"Dual-camera to become a must-have feature for high-end smartphone. The initial market response to Huawei's (CN) new flagship dual-camera model, P9, has been better than expected, and we estimate shipments may reach 10mn units in 2016F," Kuo is reportedly said. "In our view, more high-end smartphones will adopt this feature going forward. And, in order to maintain its leading position in the high-end market, we expect Apple will fully adopt dual-camera on the new 5.5-inch iPhone in 2H16."

Kuo's predictions have found support in design renders of the device, the latest being those from Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as OnLeaks on Twitter. The renders show dual-camera for the larger 5.5-inch device. The camera housing on the 4.7-inch device is also said to be larger than that on the iPhone 6S, suggestive of improvements.

The leaked renders also show smart connector on iPhone 7 Plus but resembles the iPhone 6S in form. Significantly, the designs no headphone jack or secondary speakers, confirming earlier rumors that Apple will restrict headphone connectivity to Lightning and Bluetooth.
