No one saw it coming! And after the stellar comeback performance post-injury, it was all the more a non-possibility but the harsh truth has to be accepted.

Jodie Sweetin is out of the contest and "Dancing with the Stars" viewers will no longer see her grooving on stage.

The eighth week turned out to be an unfortunate one for the "Fuller House" actress who had impressed and won hearts in millions with her rich performances and never-say-die attitude. She was shown the exit door, but the consolation was that she scored a perfect thirty on her elimination day and warmed the cockles of our heart. Her awesome Jive on Christina Aguilera's "Something's Got a Hold on Me" was mesmerizing to say the least.

As for the others, Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy were also at the top of their game, scoring the perfect 30, apart from Jodie and Keo. Their Argentine Tango on Lady Gaga's "Telephone" was incredible and had us gaping with awe and admiration. Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas did not get that perfect score but definitely deserved it. Their Viennese Waltz on Demi Lovato's "Stone Cold" seemed flawless, but they had to content themselves with 29.

Cheers for Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess as they presented one of their best acts. Antonio was every bit involved and their dance was sexy as hell. Sadly, others too decided to put their best foot forward, which left them a little lower on the score chart with a 27. Wanya Morris too had the luck factor going against him, what with the fallen bandana and a few missteps. Otherwise, the 25 score fetcher would have been a stellar show.

Hot favorite Nyle DiMarco did get a 29 but his cockiness put us off slightly. But, he managed to raise the bar and stayed safe. The team acts accompanied by the judges got equal scores of 29 but Team Carrie's act was the best. The athleticism and flow was too good and it certainly stole our hearts.
