As Season 3 of "The Blacklist" came to a close, many fans were visibly upset with Liz's death in the show finale. Liz is one of show's important characters and fans did not expect to see her sudden death. However, as per recent reports, Liz will come back in season 4 of the show.

According to reports, killing Liz, played by Megan Boone, in "The Blacklist" was kind of an alert. Since it came unexpectedly, a show would never kill their central character in such a way. Her death was unclear and the entire plot of the show is propelled into darkness.

Previous reports indicate that the Liz's death was faked and was planned between Liz and Kaplan, including Red, so that she could investigate in secrecy who has been after her all this while.

"Mark my words, she faked her own death. And this also conveniently leaves Tom free for the spin-off," Laura, "The Blacklist" fan wrote.

There are also other sources that claim that Red is helping Liz fake her death in order to protect her and also help her use her actual maternity leaves. This seems like a reasonable explanation as Boone recently gave birth to her daughter, Caroline, last month.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that confirm that Boone will make a comeback in "The Blacklist" season 4. Even though NBC is yet to confirm season 4, there are positive reports that there will be a season after Season 3. For obvious reasons, if there is no Season 4 indeed, then Megan Boone's character dead for good.

"The Blacklist" airs every Thursday on NBC.
