Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez News Update: Selena Cancels Visiting the Met Gala After Party as Justin was an Attendee

Justin Bieber avoided attending the main Met Gala event but choose to be at the after party along with Haley Baldwin. And, his choice to be at the after party, resulted in Selena having to alter her plans.

The star studded Met Gala saw many celebrities, which also implies that a whole lot of awkward encounters would take place. One such would have been with the very famous exes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, had they come face to face. So, Justin skipped the event and attended the after party with his sporadic fling Hailey Baldwin which Selena conveniently avoided.

Selena and Justin have been in the spotlight since 2011. Back then they were a very young couple trying hard to keep their relationship under wraps. But the relationship has been the center of the media's interest ever since they made a reveal about their relationship. They have had their ups and down's and have been an on and off couple with them breaking up and Justin trying to make amends.

According to reports, the initial plan had Selena attending the after party with her girlfriends at 'The Boom Boom Room'. On discovering that Justin would be one of the attendees, she was quick to change her plans. To avoid discomfort and predicting the possible bumping into him and his 'girlfriend', Selena decided on opting out of her original plan.

Nevertheless Selena had her share of fun that night. She ended up at a Vogue magazine after-party and was seen having a blast and taking fun pictures at the photo booth. Stars in the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye west were also seen at the same party. Later that night she took to Instagram to share a photo of her having a cosy night with her three closest friends.
