Doom, the classic game was all hit in the gamer base. Now, the same developers of the game were out with one more from their site called "Blackroom". The new project is another first-person shooter with a lot of potential just like Doom.

Since the game is being developed by the same developer studios, it's pretty much evident that the credibility factor of the new release will be much higher. Night Work Games launched a Kickstarter page forBlackroom earlier in the week, with the crowdfunding campaign looking to raise $700,000. The project took a downfall that no one expected especially so soon since funding for the campaign was canceled by the developers.

In its Kickstarter page, the developers of the new game mentioned about a playable demo of Blackroomwhich will also reveal the features that according to them will be "unique". However, seems like the developers now want the crowdfunding to be stopped in order for them to start developing their game from the funds they have been receiving so far. The developers feel that due to Kickstarter funding, the development for the demo game itself might take a longer time for the actual standalone.

Night Work Games decided it would be best to suspend the fundraising until the gameplay demo is ready, at which point a new campaign will be launched.Night Work Games also admitted to the fact about developing the demo first pre-campaign.At the time of the cancellation of the campaign, Blackroom already $131,052 out of its $700,000 goal from 2,287 backers in less than a week.

"It should only take us a few months to bring all of that together. It won't be a full level, but it will be enough gameplay to show off the speed and all the other things we're talking about," said one of the team member Romero in an interview.

The release date will be on May 13, 2016 for its initial date.
